This November, legendary, Grammy award-winning singer, songwriter and actor Tim McGraw will be “on top of the world” with a brand new album, Damn Country Music, and a special live performance at Homestead-Miami Speedway on Sunday, November 22 prior to the Ford EcoBoost 400, the NASCAR Sprint Cup Series championship finale.

The three-time Grammy Award winner will be a highlight of Ford Championship Weekend, with part of his live performance featured on Countdown to Green on NBC Sports Network, which begins at 1:30 p.m. ET. The Ford EcoBoost 400, which marks the final event of the Chase for the NASCAR Sprint Cup, will air on NBC at 3 p.m. ET, and be broadcast internationally to more than 200 countries in 24 languages.

McGraw will release his fourteenth studio album, Damn Country Music, on November 6. Eleven of his albums have debuted at No. 1 on the Billboard Country Album chart, and he has sold more than 40 million albums. In addition, he has had 36 number singles reach No. 1 on the country radio charts. McGraw has won three Grammy Awards, 14 Academy of Country Music Awards, 11 Country Music Association Awards, 10 American Music Awards and three People’s Choice Awards, the most recent in 2014 for “Country Music Icon.”

“We couldn’t be more excited to bring Tim McGraw to Homestead-Miami Speedway and South Florida to kick off the championship finale, the Ford EcoBoost 400,” Homestead-Miami Speedway President Matthew Becherer said. “Tim McGraw is a legend in the country music industry, and this is the perfect way to get things revved-up for the NASCAR Sprint Cup Series championship race. We are really looking forward to his special performance and know the fans will be as well.”

Jeff Gordon's History at Homestead-Miami Speedway

After 23 years of full time racing in NASCAR's Cup Series, Jeff Gordon's career will come to a close on Nov. 22, 2015 at Homestead-Miami Speedway. Throughout his career, Gordon has accumulated 93 victories, 81 poles and four championships. 

Gordon's history at Homestead-Miami Speedway is very unique. He is the only driver to start all 16 NASCAR Cup Series races that have been held at the track. Gordon holds multiple records at Homestead-Miami Speedway, including:

Most starts: 16
Most Top 5 finishes: 7
Most laps run: 4,205
Most miles run: 6,307.5

Joey Logano won the 47th Annual campingworld.com 500 , his 14th victory in 251 NASCAR Sprint Cup Series races.

This is his sixth victory and 26th top-10 finish in 2015.

This is his first victory and fifth top-10 finish in 14 races at Talladega Superspeedway.

Dale Earnhardt Jr. (second) posted his 16th top-10 finish in 32 races at Talladega Superspeedway.  It is his 19th top-10 finish in 2015.

Jeff Gordon (third) posted his 20th top-10 finish in 46 races at Talladega Superspeedway.

Matt DiBenedetto (40th) was the highest finishing rookie.

Joey Logano leads the point standings by 27 points over Carl Edwards.

With the completion of the CampingWorld.com 500 at Talladega Superspeedway, there are now only 1,076 Miles2Miami.

Denny Hamlin (second) posted his fifth top-10 finish in 15 races at Kansas Speedway.  It is his 17th top-10 finish in 2015.
Jimmie Johnson (third) posted his 16th top-10 finish in 19 races at Kansas Speedway.
Matt DiBenedetto (30th) was the highest finishing rookie.
Joey Logano leads the point standings by 13 points over Denny Hamlin.

This is his fourth victory and 24th top-10 finish in 2015.
This is his first victory and eighth top-10 finish in 14 races at Charlotte Motor Speedway. His previous best finish at Charlotte was third on May 29, 2011.
Kevin Harvick (second) posted his 13th top-10 finish in 30 races at Charlotte Motor Speedway.  It is his 24th top-10 finish in 2015. It was his 11th runner-up finish of 2015.
Martin Truex Jr. (third) posted his sixth top-10 finish in 21 races at Charlotte Motor Speedway.
Joey Logano leads the point standings by 6 points over Kevin Harvick.

Kevin Harvick led a single-race career high 355 laps. His previous high was 272 laps led at Richmond on May 6, 2006.
This is his first victory and 14th top-10 finish in 30 races at Dover International Speedway.
Kyle Busch (second) posted his 14th top-10 finish in 22 races at Dover International Speedway.  It is his 11th top-10 finish in 2015.
Dale Earnhardt Jr. (third) posted his 12th top-10 finish in 32 races at Dover International Speedway.
