·         Martin Truex Jr. won the 47th Annual Citizen Soldier 400 NASCAR Sprint Cup Series race Sunday afternoon. For Truex, it is his seventh victory in 398 NASCAR Sprint Cup Series races.

·         It is Truex’s fourth victory and 15th top-10 finish in 2016.

·         It is Truex’s second victory and 11th top-10 finish in 22 races at Dover International Speedway.

·         It is Truex’s second win in the Round of 16, with his first victory coming at Chicagoland Speedway September 18.

·         With the win on Sunday, Truex enters the Round of 12 as the top seed.

·         Kyle Busch (second) posted his 15th top-10 finish in 24 races at Dover International Speedway.

·         For Busch, it is his 13th top-5 and 19th top-10 finish in 2016.

·         Chase Elliott finished third in the Citizen Soldier 400, giving him his ninth top-5 and 15th top-10 showing this year.

·         It is Elliott’s second top-5 finish in two races at Dover International Speedway.

·         Brad Keselowski (fourth) has posted a top-5 finish in each of the first three races of the Chase.

·         Matt Kenseth finished fifth at Dover International Speedway, giving him his sixth top-5 and 14th top-10 showing in 29 races this season.

·         In 11 Sprint Cup Series starts at Homestead-Miami Speedway, Martin Truex Jr. has three top-5 and seven top-10 finishes, including a second place finish in the 2006 Ford 400. In 2015, Truex was among the Championship 4 drivers who competed for the Sprint Cup Series title in the Ford EcoBoost 400. Also, Martin Truex Jr. celebrated his two XFINITY Series championships at Homestead Miami Speedway (2004, 2005).

·         Following Sunday’s Chase for the NASCAR Sprint Cup race at Dover International Speedway, there are now only 2,477.58 #Miles2Miami. The 2016 Chase for the NASCAR Sprint Cup will culminate at Homestead-Miami Speedway with the Ford EcoBoost 400 championship race on November 20.

·         Below are the current standings in the 2016 Chase for the NASCAR Sprint Cup following the third and final race in the Round of 16. Martin Truex Jr., Kevin Harvick, Brad Keselowski, Kyle Busch, Matt Kenseth, Joey Logano, Denny Hamlin, Jimmie Johnson, Chase Elliott, Carl Edwards, Kurt Busch and Austin Dillon have advanced to the Round of 12. The four drivers who will not be advancing to the Round of 12 are Tony Stewart, Kyle Larson, Jamie McMurray and Chris Buescher.





Starting this year, the XFINITY Series and Camping World Truck Series will feature championship races at Homestead-Miami Speedway on November 19 (NXS) and November 18 (NCWTS).  Four drivers will compete amongst a full field for their respective title. Below is a Race Recap from Saturday’s Camping World Truck Series at Las Vegas Motor Speedway and Sunday’s XFINITY Series race at Dover International Speedway:

XFINITY Series
·         Daniel Suarez won the 31st Annual Drive Sober 200 XFINITY Series race at Dover International Speedway Sunday afternoon. It was his second victory in 63 NASCAR XFINITY Series races.

·         It is Suarez’s second victory and 22nd top-10 finish in 2016

·         It is Suarez’s first victory and third top-10 finish in four races at Dover International Speedway.

·         Suarez and Elliott Sadler have clinched spots in the NASCAR XFINITY Series Chase Round of 8 following their victories in the Round of 12.

·         Suarez leads the NASCAR XFINITY Series Chase points standings by two points over Elliott Sadler.

·         One race remains before the field in the Round of 8 is determined in the NASCAR XFINITY Series Chase.
 
Camping World Truck Series

·         Tyler Reddick won the 20th Annual DC Solar 350 Camping World Truck Series race at Las Vegas Motor Speedway Saturday night. It is his third victory in 58 NASCAR Camping World Truck Series races.

·         It is Reddick’s first victory and 10th top-10 finish in 2016

·         It is Reddick’s first victory and second top-10 finish in three races at Las Vegas Motor Speedway.

·         William Byron is the only driver who has clinched a spot in the NASCAR Camping World Truck Series Chase Round of 6 following his victory in the Round of 8.

·         Byron leads the NASCAR Camping World Truck Series Chase points standings by 18 points over Christopher Bell. 

·         One race remains before the field in the Round of 6 is determined in the NASCAR Camping World Truck Series Chase.
